Hailing from rural Austria, Gabbatha is a Roman Catholic Jünge, a Rungle Clotted Junglist and a Rather Crazy Juh-hee-sus freak!
He puts the Christ in Christian Gorenoise, is a dedicant of Devotional Doomcore and a harbinger of the Holiness of Hardcore.

Living in a nigh hermetic fashion atop a Tyrolean mountain, Johannes Kristobel Maelstrom re-assembles a range of religious rhythms and the most praiseworthy psalms into a heartfelt and pure Christian-core-noise project.

Gabbatha is the Aramaic name of the place where Jesus was tried by Pilate and condemned to death in return for the political prisoner, Barabbas. One son of the Father crucified in return for another son of the Father. Quite the Christmas gift!

This record is dedicated to and made in praise of Jesus Christ, 1/3 and yet also the entirety of God.
